Why are you offering PacasoNow?
Pacaso is delivering on our mission to make second home ownership possible for more people. Our buyers are asking for more flexibility to experience our homes without the full financial commitment of ownership so they can feel comfortable with their purchase. PacasoNow is being offered to lessen the upfront commitment of buying a whole while giving the benefits of owning a Pacaso. We’re confident that once buyers experience their Pacaso, they’ll want to become owners for the long term.
What happens after 12 months of ownership?
After 12 months, you have the opportunity to transition to long-term ownership at the price you locked in at the start of the program. If you are no longer interested in being an owner, you return your share and walk away.
What rights will I have as a PacasoNow owner?
As a PacasoNow owner, you enjoy the benefits of your home like easy app-based scheduling, dedicated property management and luxury amenities. You, however, are not eligible to vote in co-owner decisions or swap dates with other co-owners until you decide to make a full down payment and become a long-term owner.
Can I become a long-term owner before my 12-month period ends?
Yes. There is no penalty for becoming a long-term Pacaso early. If you and the seller of the Pacaso have agreed on a price, you can make a full purchase and get any remaining months prorated.
Can I have guests stay? Can I rent out my Pacaso?
You can have guests at your Pacaso for personal stays, and you’ll be responsible for any potential damages. You may not, however, charge or market your Pacaso stays for financial benefit. Pacaso is for exclusive use by owners only.
What happens with damages?
A PacasoNow owner is responsible for all damages during their 12-month contract.
